Eight years ago I said to myself that I would never tour in alberta and do the small town runs cause they are soul destroying. At least for someone with my act it can be tough. Lots of great comics can do well on these runs but for me I just end up spending hundreds of dollars on long distance calls so i don’t jump out of four story buildings and cripple myself. That way everytime I look at the wheels I will be reminded on why I can never go back to their monkey fucking town again.
Time does a funny thing to your mind. You start to say to yourself
“hey i can handle it..this will be good”
